r e t r e a t

one and done.
how sad is that?
jeevan had only one retreat and its already over

but it was an amazing retreat.

it started out awkward.
there were so many moments of silence.
until
we turned on the music and brought the camera out!
then we all kinda showed off our weird side and had a great time.

let me tell you about my team.

they are perfect
they are smart
they are talented
they are funny
they are loving
they are weird
and
i love them.

we learned about:
integrity
letter writing
individual events
life lenses
YMAD
choosing a name
and each other.

i am already in love with all of them and i can't wait until february 8th to see them again.

so we had some good moments like when
zoe was on top of a 3 person shoulder "piggy back" thing and looked like she was going to pass out.
when i (jordie) and linds stole davids  bed then fell asleep on it so we all three cuddled up and stuck out the night.

my favorite part was how we got to meet each other twice. meaning i got to meet david and andrew and mia but i also got to meet them through their life lenses. having gone through YMAD before and doing this it was cool to see that everyone already looked happier. your life lense really do sculpt and change your lives if you let them and operation jeevan already let their life lenses take the reigns.

the ending of the retreat was bittersweet because i felt so disgusting and tired and gross but i had to leave my team. i miss them already and we are all becoming FB friends and have stalked each other on instagram and its the greatest beginning to the happiest six months of our lives.

INDIA HERE WE COME!

every YMAD operation comes up with a name, last year mine was Shaanti and that means peace so we were operation peace others have been valobosa, nistha, genshai, etc. all meaning something else in Hindi but my group chose jeevan.
jeevan = life
operation life

thank you to everyone who helped with food, setting up, lessons, pictures, and everything else.
xoxo jordie
