ummm..

we leave for india in 18 days folks.

almost 17 because its pretty late..

how exciting is this? 

10 of us are going half-way across the world

to meet kids that already plan to steal our hearts.

how can you not be excited?

can i admit that i wasn't at first?

i just wasn't feeling it. 

but i decided to stick with it

and i am sure glad i did.

the 9 people i am going with are so amazing

and i love them so much already.

but i know that is just going to grow when we get there.

i am done fundraising.

and its getting more real.

its happening. 

i am going to india.

and i am going to have a great time.

thank you all who have donated and helped me

on this long journey.

i was really struggling with money

but man when you offer swim lessons 

people really like to snatch that up.

so honestly when i am not guarding at the pool

i am teaching lessons. 

and when i say that i am not joking.

i live at the pool.

but i just think that i am teaching these kids

so i can teach other kids.

but just to let you all know

teaching swim lessons is the best birth control

(not like i need that right now.. cause not married)

but geez i am NOT having kids for a LONG time.

hahah but i just wanted to post 

to tell you i am alive.

and im still partially sane

and i'm excited to go to india
